About CookUnity

Founded in 2015 by CEO Mateo Marietti and Head Chef Lucia Cisilotto, CookUnity is the world’s first chef-led meal delivery service, connecting consumers across North America with meals from Michelin-starred masters, James Beard winners, and Food Network stars. The company has served more than one hundred million meals to date.

In 2025, the company launched its kids line to offer more flexible menu options for families. The meals are portioned perfectly for kids and feature familiar flavors, hidden veggies and essential nutrients. They’re also ready in two minutes or less, making them a great option for kids with busy schedules and picky palates alike.

How it Works

The CookUnity kids meals aren’t yet a standalone plan, which means you’ll have to be an existing customer to add them to your order. Here’s a look at the easy ordering process:

  1. Visit your CookUnity account via the app or website.
  2. Use the filters/search function to find dishes you like, and add them to your cart to meet your weekly meal minimum.
  3. Browse the kids’ menu and add as many as your family needs for the week. These will be charged separately.
  4. Look forward to having ready-to-eat meals for you and your family delivered to your door.

A Taste of What’s on the Menu

CookUnity offers a rotating menu of about five to 15 meals per week. The dishes feature simple, classic flavors designed to appeal to even the pickiest eaters, like:

  • Mini Margherita Pizza
  • Hidden Veggies Beef Bolognese
  • Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese
  • Baked Fish & Hand-Cut Potato Wedges
  • Tiny Tastebuds Mighty Chicken Meatball Marinara

All of the meals feature seasonal ingredients plus hidden veggies for maximum freshness, flavor and nutrition. Preparation is easy—the meals are ready in two minutes or less.

CookUnity Pricing

Since the kids’ meals are not yet a core plan—they are an optional add-on for existing CookUnity subscribers, to make ordering easier you’ll just pay your regular plan cost plus the price of each kid meal you select. Most of the kids meals cost between $5 and $13 per meal, which is competitive with similar services.
