Performance
There’s no doubt that this solar generator is powerful and capable. Here’s a closer look at how it performs in terms of battery, tech features and run time:
Power Tower
Stack up to seven expansion batteries to build your “power tower,” taking your power reserve from 2,048Wh to 16,384Wh. These expansion packs neatly stack and easily connect to your Grid Doctor 3300, allowing you to charge and store them together, and break them down for dispersed power wherever you need it most.
Tech Features
This model features some of the latest technology available, including UPS protection, pass-through charging and maximum power point tracking (MPPT). Here’s what that means and how it can benefit you:
-
UPS Protection: UPS stands for “uninterrupted power supply” and provides an instant transition from grid to generator, which means in the event of an outage, there is zero downtime for vital equipment like medical devices, refrigerators and freezers.
-
Pass-Through Charging: Allows you to use the generator while it’s charging, providing uninterrupted power to your most important devices. This also results in less wear on the battery and prolonged battery life.
-
MPPT Charge Controller: Like a personal assistant for your solar generator, the MPPT regulates the rate at which a battery’s charge is added to or drawn from, protecting the lifespan of your battery and optimizing power output and performance.
Run Time
The 3,300 watts of energy generated by the Grid Doctor 3300 means you can run large appliances, and multiple appliances simultaneously, without skipping a beat.
Here is the estimated run time for various equipment:
-
