4Patriots is celebrating 10 years of making portable generators with the release of the 2500X. They’ve sold more than 250,000 generators and have built a strong rapport among customers with positive reviews on both their 1800 and 2000X generator units. And with the release of the 2500K, they’ve made some noteworthy improvements. Here’s a look at the performance upgrades of their newest model:
Long-Lasting Battery
What does the life cycle of a battery actually mean? When we say the Patriot Power 2500X battery has 3,500 life cycles, that means you can fully drain and recharge it 3,500 times while retaining 80 percent of its original battery capacity. That equates to more than nine years of daily use before the battery performance diminishes significantly.
Fast Recharging
The 2500X got some great upgrades when it comes to recharging the unit. This new model charges two times faster than previous 4Patriots models, and thanks to DuelForce recharging technology, you can simultaneously recharge from both a wall plug and solar panel for even faster charging times.

Expandable Capacity
The 2500X is 4Patriots’ first generator that can take up to four battery expansion packs, essentially quadrupling the battery capacity of the base unit. This equates to a lot more run time for your most important devices, and gives you the versatility to create a whole-home backup that’s customized to your specific power needs.
